A mash-up of British classic Cottage Pie and American Meatloaf that is perfect for little hands. This recipe makes a large loaf, but it freezes really well if needed. You could do a ‘shepherds’ version by switching to lamb mince and adding mint too.
Whilst babies can’t have pates containing meat as they contain liver products (and usually too much salt!) there is no reason why they can’t enjoy simple homemade fish or vegetable pâtés. This one is so creamy and luxurious. Use it as a sauce for chicken too!
