White Fish and Prawn Paella
This is a real family favourite! Traditional paellas can be a bit salty, so I have created a low salt version that still keeps all those wonderful Spanish flavours.
Family Fish Pie
This is a proper family favourite, and really easy to make too. You can use this recipe as a base for my Fish Pie Balls if you like. The recipe is for a family of two adults and two small children.
Spanish ‘Pincer Grip’ Breakfast
A Baby Led cooked breakfast option. Great for practising pincer grip from around 8 months and up. This recipe also makes a tasty supper dish. Recipe serves 2 adults and two little ones.
Rice ‘n’ Bean Quesadillas
My family love Mexican flavours! These easy quesadillas are nice and squishy so hold together well. I like to serve these with smashed avocado and sour cream.
Italian Pork and Borlotti Bean Stew
This warming stew makes a hearty and cheap meal. I like to serve it with jacket potatoes (just scoop out the middle or cut into wedges for baby) but it works over pasta or polenta too. Recipe serves 2 adults and 2 small ones, plus leftovers.
Slow Cooked Smokey Beef Brisket
I love the flavours of Texan-style food, but a lot of recipes can be high in sugar and salt. Like my pulled pork recipe, this is sweetened with apple, rather than refined sugar. Serve with wraps and guacamole, or rolls and a fresh salad to pick at.
BLK Chips and Tomato Sauce
I often get asked for healthier alternatives to oven chips and store bought ketchup. Here’s how to DIY. The sauce could not be easier!
Slow Cooked Pulled Pork ‘n’ Beans
This dish is slower in sugar than traditional pulled pork recipes and is soft and ‘grab-able’ for babies. I like to serve it with tortilla wraps and guacamole.
Smokey Pork Burgers
Juicy, perfectly spiced burgers! Slice into fingers for babies (serving the extras as sides) and serve in a bun for adults. This recipe typically makes around six decent sized grown up burgers. If you don’t need that many, you can freeze the patties prior to cooking.
