Sunshine Noodles
Your little one will love these zesty, wiggly noodles! serve with fish, chicken or tofu.
Veggie Cottage Pie
This vegetarian dish is perfect for batch cooking and freezing. Pull out of the freezer when you want a quick, cosy meal.
Japanese Style Noodle Salad
A light and fresh salad to be enjoyed as a side dish or on its own. Your baby will love the squishy, wriggly noodles!
Baby Stir Fry and Noodles
Stir Fry dishes can be really salty but are otherwise quick and nutritious. Here’s a lower salt version that doesn’t compromise on flavour. Chuck in some prawns, chicken or tofu or enjoy as it is.
Italian Pork and Borlotti Bean Stew
This warming stew makes a hearty and cheap meal. I like to serve it with jacket potatoes (just scoop out the middle or cut into wedges for baby) but it works over pasta or polenta too. Recipe serves 2 adults and 2 small ones, plus leftovers.
Creamy Tomato Pasta
This is a really quick recipe that saves on time, energy and washing up. No chopping required and only one pan involved! Recipe serves two adults and two little ones.
Hearty Lentil Ragu
A meat-free pasta sauce packed with flavour and goodness. The sauce clings really nicely to the pasta, making it perfect for BLW.
Cottage Loaf
A mash-up of British classic Cottage Pie and American Meatloaf that is perfect for little hands. This recipe makes a large loaf, but it freezes really well if needed. You could do a ‘shepherds’ version by switching to lamb mince and adding mint too.
Cheese and Tomato Flapjacks
So many shop bought snacks are sweet. It’s a good idea to offer your baby plenty of savoury options so avoid them developing too much of a sweet tooth early on. These flapjacks make a great alternative to sweet snack bars.
Shepherd’s Pie
Shepherd’s Pie is a real British Classic, however, my pre-baby recipe depended on a fair bit of salt for flavour. I developed a new recipe that gets its punch from the blend of herbs and vegetables.
