Not quite a scone, not quite a biscuit. This is a great recipe for cooking with toddlers and older children. Little hands will enjoy squeezing the cubes of butter between their fingers, squishing the mixture together, helping to roll the pastry and cutting out the circles. You can do the boring chopping, grating and lifting in and out of the oven of course.
Freezing: Freeze on a baking tray, then pop in a freezer bag. Defrost in the fridge overnight.
