This is one of my most popular baby breakfast recipes. These mini loaves are easy to hold and not too messy to eat. They double up as a handy toddler snack, too. There are lots of different ways you can make these, so I have provided the base recipe and a list of flavour combinations to choose from.
Flavour options: 1. Mashed banana, topped with blueberries. 2. Pear purée or mashed pear with ginger, topped with blackberries. 3. Apple and apricot purée, topped with sliced apricots. 4. Peach purée, topped with raspberries. 5. Coconut cream with cinnamon, topped with chopped dates. 6. Apple purée with vanilla, topped with strawberries.
Freezing: Freeze between sheets of greaseproof paper in an airtight container or freezer bag for up to 3 months. Defrost in the fridge overnight. You can warm them on a low heat in the oven if required.
