I love the flavours of Texan-style food, but a lot of recipes can be high in sugar and salt. Like my pulled pork recipe, this is sweetened with apple, rather than refined sugar. Serve with wraps and guacamole, or rolls and a fresh salad to pick at.
A mash-up of British classic Cottage Pie and American Meatloaf that is perfect for little hands. This recipe makes a large loaf, but it freezes really well if needed. You could do a ‘shepherds’ version by switching to lamb mince and adding mint too.
Shepherd’s Pie is a real British Classic, however, my pre-baby recipe depended on a fair bit of salt for flavour. I developed a new recipe that gets its punch from the blend of herbs and vegetables.
